MEDICSA Movie Time. *Warning*
MEDICSA Movie Time.
*Warning* Before you scroll down, please be reminded that this is not for the faint-hearted.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
So, besides studying, what do we do to relax our mind? One of it is... we catch a movie. A FREE one. Yesterday, we had our very first MEDICSA Movie Time in UCSI's auditorium, from 2-5pm... and the movie of our choice is "The Exorcist-1973."
Yep, the ORIGINAL version. The OLDEST. One of the best classic horror movie ever made. <--- Quoted from the 1973 reviews. Considering it was made in 1973, it's a pretty awesome movie. I'm not so sure about you, but it scared the wits out of me, if you ask me.
The Poster.

The girl & a doctor.

And then she turns into this.....
*GASPS*

And this...

She can even twist her neck. *GULPS*

She twisted it two times in the movie.

And she did the infamous spiderwalk. This was really freaky.

The priest tying her hands.

So sick.

The evil laugh. *GULPS*

The exorcism process.

So, did the movie made us more relaxed? In a way.... yes I guess... but to me, it gave me the jitters. Hmm.
But the MovieTime was a good one. Let's do this more often. =D

09.08.09 - A Day To Remember
09.08.09 - A whole of Year 2 Medical students and a few of our beloved lecturers spent a day out together. The trip to Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) was extremely fun! We were introduced to various species of unique plants by our lovely guide... we saw tiny streams passing us by... and we even reached the waterfall. The air was so fresh and the tranquility is priceless... being far far away from the hustle and bustle of city life is simply; amazing.
The lecturers who went with us were Dr. Aisyah, Dr. Anupama, Dr. Gul, Dr. Ogubanjo, Dr. Nelson, and Dr. Sundaresan. Apparently, both Dr. Nelson and Dr. Sundaresan are photography enthusiasts! They were so busy snapping away as we trekked the trails. HAHAHA~
And lunch served to us were nasi beriani + vegetable dhal + chicken + half an egg + mineral water. Not bad right?
Anyways, to know more about the amazing trip, feel free to visit our blogs (especially mine *-*) or you can drop by at our Facebook profiles. Loads of pictures there, I'm telling you. Links at the right. *To the right, to the right*
A sneak peek to few of the hundreds pictures taken :
On the way to FRIM ...

The Canopy Walk!!

Dr. Nelson and Dr. Anupama admiring some pictures =D

Reaching the Canopy Walk...

The Aromatica Tree.... The broccoli-lookalike... Pretty sight eh?

Dr. Gul climbing the tarzan tree....

Dr. Gul with his adorable little boy, Aman ^^

Dr. Gul by the cave tree. The wood from this tree can be made into drums.

Dr. Aisyah with some of the girls.

My lovely friend, Shee Ven on the Canopy Walk.

Dr. Aisyah and her husband behind her trying the Canopy Walk as well. =)

Our last stop.

Where we played the "Bang Game" before heading home.

Last but not least, the GROUP PICTURE!!!!

Everyone looks so happy!
Well, it was a really great trip ! Hopefully we can have more of this kind of adventurous trips with the lecturers ^^
Signing off~
